Always Working!
Estate agents are never off duty, or should that mean they are always looking to "do a deal", bish bash bosh- it sounds like the Trotters hit town! Only last month with the final new instruction being measured up at 4pm on a Friday most people could have had their mind on the start of the weekend. The house had been on the market for at least 2 years, and I dont think estate agents were on the owners Christmas list - they were fed up and hoped we might help. Well, having adjourned to the Pub after close of business for the regular "Weekly Office Meeting" Andy spotted someone on our mailing list in the bar. Within 1 pint, Andy had described the new house on our books and the buyer was on his way to view the property. Andy had only measured up 2 hours before and by midday on Saturday the deal was done and sale agreed. Everyone moved house about 6 weeks later, now that was mixing business with pleasure. What about opening a new branch office at a local Pub!
Satisfied Customer Story
We must be doing something right! How about this for customer satisfaction? Sanderson estate agents has been open just about 2 years now, and a we already have a client who has instructed us for the third time! By that we mean she has sold 3 properties and is on her third move in only 2 years. Each time she has sold through us and is now buying through us for the 2nd time! For the last move it took us 2 weeks before we had achieved an acceptable offer, she was delighted, we were disappointed it had taken 2 weeks as we thought we would have done it in a few days!
Local Information
In Golf World this month Royal St Davids Golf Club at Harlech has moved up the league tables to 29th out of the Top 100 Courses in the country. Now if you play golf but you have not played Harlech you are missing out. So go to their web site pick up the phone and call the Secretary to reserve a tee, and remember even with all the rain because its links it should drain better, we also do not get the severe frosts. Go to www.royalstdavids.co.uk
Winter league for the Ferret starts this weekend (28/29 Oct) and the weather forecast is poor-rain! The expectation is there but the short game isnt! However the "new Bubble Burner" driver is going okay. NEWSFLASH!! With the advent of some truly awful weather the course was closed and the weekends winter league was postponed.
With all the bad weather the course has been waterlogged so no golf, no winter league. Wales beat Samoa and it was good seeing Arwel Thomas spreading the game and little Billy Wizz on the wing, however South Africa will be a different match.
Adverts
Now our intention is to sell the properties first and foremost, but we also want to make people smile when they read the adverts. Someone however has said "they are too flowery" and to tone them down.
What do you think? Let us know.
